T.Strong…

is an experienced, accomplished and passionate business professional and entrepreneur. She holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Marketing from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, the largest Historically Black College & University (HBCU) in the country.

T has over 20 years of professional experience working with various Fortune 500, New York and International Corporations in the Marketing, Fashion and Editorial industries. As a Fashion Buyer, her affiliations include Macy’s, Nautica and Pinault-Printemps-Redoute (Kering). In the editorial sector, publications include The Source Magazine and Essence Magazine as well as the StyleMayvin blog, created in 2008, which led to various freelance published articles.

Later in her career, after a brief stint as a Fox News Style Correspondent and Marketing Director for a local publication in Charlotte, NC she returned to the NY fashion world with Calvin Klein. Her professional marketing experience in the areas of product development, branding and DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) began with PVH Corp., the parent company of CK, Tommy Hilfiger, Speedo and a number of other brands.

It was in her role as Regional Manager with Calvin Klein that she honed her skills in successfully managing and leading both niche product and marketing teams while conducting career conversations that employees need to further develop their careers. She also learned how to most efficiently manage and guide both new and existing managers to reach their greatest potential in their respective roles. These learning continue to be easily transferable in the world of entrepreneurship. As the Manager of Inclusion & Diversity focusing specifically on Education and Awareness at PVH, T implemented opportunities for cross departmental collaboration, growth in leadership roles for associates, genuine acceptance of promoting and creating diverse teams and the importance of emotional intelligence in combating workplace stigma. To that end, she wrote an informative white paper on the topic of Stigma in the Workplace that has been shared with various companies in the U.S. and Internationally.
